Reiss Engineering was contracted to perform an overall review of sampling, analytical, and operational strategies utilized by the County with respect to the existing and anticipated Disinfectant/Disinfection by-products (D/DBP) rules. The specific objective of the effort was to determine the most advantageous program of sampling for compliance with the D/DBP, while providing a technically sound and fair representation of the systems total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and haloacetic acids levels.
